Discover the wonderful world of opera

Pamela Andrews holds a Master of Music degree (ANU, 2010), a Graduate Diploma of Arts Management (AIM, 2018) and a Bachelor of Music with Honours degree (UTAS, 2008). Pamela is originally from Tasmania and, before working for Pacific Opera, she was working in various administrative positions at non-profit organisations and private companies as well as running her own music teaching practice. Pamela is an experienced events manager and administrator and greatly enjoys the new challenges that operating a company like Pacific Opera presents. Pamela volunteered as an Artistic Administrator and Event Volunteer at Pacific Opera before becoming Operations Manager in June 2015.

A talented young opera singer herself, Pamela was a Young Artist with Pacific Opera in 2013 and played the Countess in their production of The Marriage of Figaro. Pamela has many strings to her bow and also teaches singing at Wenona School as well as maintaining a busy performance schedule as a performing artist. Pamela has won many prizes for singing and in 2016 made it to the Joan Sutherland Theatre stage at the Sydney Opera House in her first chorus role with the national company, Opera Australia.
