Verdi's Requiem
On Monday 4 September, 2MBS Fine Music Sydneypresenter Ross Hayes spoke on the topic "Verdi's Requiem - Religious Experience or Operatic Masterpiece". He discussed the background to the creation of this work, stepped us through the various sections with audio and audio-visual examples, and left us with a song in our hearts, which was his aim. This even involved a group sing-a-long of Va Pensiero.
