William Byrd was an English Renaissance composer who had a profound influence on composers both from his native country and on the Continent.
Music and Latin scholar Dr Robert Forgacs presented a fascinating talk entitled "William Byrd: Insights Into the Career and Music of One of England's Greatest Composers 400 Years After His Death" on Monday 25 March.
