Wagner & Philosophy
Professor Colin Mackerras spoke on "The Late Music-Dramas of Richard Wagner: Philosophy and Music" on Monday 13 May. Since 2004 Colin has been Professor Emeritus at the Department of International Business and Asian Studies (Griffith University). Colin is twin brother of Malcolm Mackerras, a psephologist, and brother of the late conductor Sir Charles
Mackerras (1925- 2010). He comes to Wagner as a long-time appreciator and thinker.
