Janacek's Katya Kabanova

On Monday 3 February, Dr Antony Ernst, dramaturg, director, writer, lecturer, translator and until recently Orchestra Director of the Royal Danish Orchestra, examined Leos Janacek's  1921 opera Katya Kabanova, largely inspired by Janacek's love for Kamila Stosslova. The opera is scheduled to be performed by Victorian Opera in October this year.
