The Frozen Ensemble

On Monday February 10. member Dr Richard Mason presented a very interesting explanation of what frozen ensembles are including their history and purpose and chose a number of excellent examples from favourite operas to illustrate their role in specific operas.   We learnt a lot and enjoyed Richard’s sharing of his vast operatic knowledge.
