Massenet's Cinderella

On Monday 24 February, tenor Matt Gaskin discussed Massenet's Cendrillon - re-badged as Cinderella, a shorter version in English - currently on the roster at Opera Australia and featuring an all-Australian cast. He covered the context of the opera, the creative forces behind the original version through to the current, and took us through its story with many video examples taken from the recent Met production.
